Job summary

City of Sydney is seeking Crew Members for its Infrastructure Delivery team in Alexandra, Sydney. The role focuses on maintaining roads, footpaths and public infrastructure, with a basic understanding of civil works and a hands-on approach to daily tasks.

You will join a dynamic, safety-conscious team, delivering reliable maintenance services in a locally governed city. The position offers permanent full-time employment with ordinary hours and opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• Be physically capable of undertaking manual labouring activities outdoors.
• Hold a current Class C Driver Licence.
• Possess basic computer and IT skills.
• Demonstrate safety, teamwork and customer service.
• Willing to obtain MR Driver Licence within six months.
• Willing to obtain TCP accreditation within six months.
• Willing to obtain IMP accreditation within six months.

Responsibilities

• Undertake civil maintenance on roads, footpaths, and infrastructure.
• Perform general labouring and operate plant and equipment as required.
• Respond to maintenance requests and safety issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team to deliver high-quality maintenance.
• Carry out other duties as directed by Supervisors and Management.
