Job summary

Wilson Pateras Sydney Pty Ltd, a long‑standing public practice in the Sydney CBD, seeks a Business Services Manager to lead the Business Services Team and deliver accounting, tax and audit services to a diverse client base.

You will manage client relationships, coordinate workflow, and drive process improvements while maintaining high technical standards and compliance across engagements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in accounting.
• Strong financial reporting, analysis and budgeting skills.
• Experience in preparing and analysing financial statements.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• CPA or CA certification.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and co-ordinate the Business Services Team and deliver accounting services to allocated clients.
• Oversee client meetings, tax planning and advisory discussions.
• Identify client and firm opportunities; drive efficiency in engagement workflows.
• Provide technical review of client work and maintain up‑to‑date taxation knowledge.
