ThePsych Assessment Studio in Caringbah is seeking an Early Career Psychologist to join our team and grow within a neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based practice. You will work in a welcoming space and contribute to meaningful assessment and support.

The role starts at 2 days per week with the potential to increase to 3, and offers employee or contractor options, supervision, and opportunities to develop skills across assessment and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Registered psychologist with AHPRA; experience with neurodivergent populations desired.
• Keen interest in psychological assessment and building assessment skills.
• Comfortable collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Who we’re looking for

You’ll need to:

• Beregistered with AHPRA as a psychologist
• Have knowledge and experience working withneurodivergent children, teens and/or adults
• Have a genuineinterest in psychological assessmentand be keen to continue developing your assessment skills
• Be comfortable working collaboratively withfamilies and multidisciplinary teams
• Be able totake initiative and work independently, while also knowing when to reach out and collaborate
• Work from a genuinelyneurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based framework- no deficit-based stuff here!
• Be curious, thoughtful and committed to understanding thewhole person, rather than simply focusing on scores, symptoms or diagnoses
• Want to make a meaningful difference to the people and families you work with
