Job summary

Insight Assessment Clinic in Camberwell is seeking a contractor psychologist to perform comprehensive assessments across ages and contribute meaningfully to high-quality, person-centred evaluations.

You will work within an established assessment team, leveraging available resources while maintaining flexibility in caseloads and schedules.

Qualifications

• Holds current general or clinical registration with AHPRA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments with people of all ages.
• Work on ADHD, Autism, cognitive and academic assessments; expand services based on interests.
• Structure workload with flexibility while receiving support from an established clinic.

Insight Assessment Clinic is growing, and we’re looking for a passionate and motivated psychologist to join our assessment team.

Who are we?

Insight Assessment Clinic is a boutique psychology clinic in Camberwell dedicated to comprehensive psychological assessment across the lifespan. We created InsightAC because we wanted assessment to feel different: thoughtful, thorough and genuinely client-centred. We look beyond scores and checklists to understand the whole person and help our clients make sense of themselves, their life experiences and how their brain works.

You’ll work from our beautiful, newly renovated Camberwell clinic, with thoughtfully constructed spaces and tones of natural light. We’re a small but growing team, which means there’s plenty of opportunity to contribute, learn and grow alongside the practice.

About the role

We’re looking for a psychologist to join us on a contractor basis, conducting psychological assessments with people of all ages (if you prefer to work with a particular age group, we are open to hearing from you!). Our current assessment work includes ADHD, Autism, cognitive and academic assessments, and we’re always open to expanding our services based on the skills and interests of our team. You’ll have flexibility in how you structure your work and caseload, while having the support and resources of an established assessment clinic around you.

About you

• Holds current general or clinical registration with AHPRA (we are not currently hiring provisional psychologists)
• Has at least two years of assessment experience, ideally with experience using gold-standard assessment tools
• Has a genuine interest in neurodiversity and supporting neurodivergent clients
• Is thoughtful, warm and committed to producing high-quality assessment work
• Values comprehensive, person-centred assessment rather than a checklist approach
• Enjoys working independently while still being part of a collaborative team
• Has additional assessment training or areas of interest they’d love to bring to the clinic
