Job summary

Psych Assessment Studio in Caringbah is seeking an early career psychologist to join a supportive, affirming team. The role is 3 days per week (10am–6pm) with a mix of telehealth and in-clinic sessions, starting November 2026.

You’ll work with children, teens, and adults, providing diagnostic assessments, therapy, and practical supports in a neurodiversity-affirming environment. The position offers supervision, professional development, and mentoring in assessments, with room to grow your niche

Qualifications

• Early career psychologist seeking neurodiversity-affirming practice.
• Interest or experience with ADHD and Autism.
• Comfort working with children, teens, and adults.
• Initiative, playful approach, and family collaboration.
• Lived neurodivergence a valued perspective.

Responsibilities

• Provide affirming therapy and supports post-diagnosis (emotional regulation, anxiety, masking, family support, school/home/work accommodations).
• Use creative, playful, and behavioural approaches with children.
• Support teens and adults in neurodivergence and mental health navigation.
• Conduct cognitive and academic assessments; ADHD/Autism assessments with training.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and allied health professionals to implement supports.
