Serco’s Albatross Health Centre in Nowra, NSW, is seeking a Psychologist to deliver high-quality mental health care to Defence members in a primary healthcare setting with no Medicare billing. The role supports a multidisciplinary team and offers paid CPD leave and civilian flexibility.

Standard hours align with 0730-1530, Monday-Friday, in a secure Navy environment. You’ll conduct fitness-for-duty assessments, develop treatment plans, and contribute to patient-centred care in a supportive

Competenze

• Unrestricted AHPRA general registration as a Psychologist.
• Minimum two years’ postgraduate experience in mental health within last five years in a Primary Healthcare or Specialist Mental Health setting.
• Experience with Focused Psychological Strategies and Psychological Therapy as per Medicare Schedule.
• Current CPR certificate (HLTAID009).
• Australian Citizenship required for Baseline Security Clearance.
• Commitment to CPD and patient-centred care.

About Albatross Health Centre

Located at Nowra on the South Coast of NSW, approximately 2.5 hours from Sydney CBD. HMAS Albatross is the largest operational naval establishment in Australia and the Navy’s only air station. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, dental, mental health, physiotherapy, nursing and pharmaceutical services to up to 1500 ADF members. Standard hours of operation are generally 0730-1530 Monday-Friday, with medical officers on-call for aviation retrievals.

What You Bring
