Ability Action Australia is seeking a Provisional Psychologist to support NDIS participants in a hybrid Brisbane-area role with a home office in Yeerongpilly. You will deliver evidence-based, client-centered interventions and manage caseloads under supervision.

Qualifications include AHPRA registration and a Master’s degree in psychology, along with WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance. Flexible work arrangement and professional development opportunities are offered.

Job Description

As the AAA Psychology team is rapidly growing, we are seeking a dedicated Provisional Psychologist to enter our supportive, respectful and professional workplace within in NDIS space.

This is a hybrid role with the home office based in Yeerongpilly for all team meetings & supervision.

Provisional Psychology Caseloads are allocated within 30 mins of your home suburb.

At AAA, the Provisional Psychologist’s primary role is to support NDIS participants in line with AHPRA and NDIS regulations and client goals.

Responsibilities will include:

• Provide high quality therapeutic evidenced-based and client-centered interventions in a professional, confidential and culturally safe manner.
• Undertake comprehensive assessments (using clinical observations and standardised assessments) and interpret findings to formulate treatment goals.
• Be responsible for supporting and managing your case load.
• Support Participants and other stakeholders to develop and review support plans.
• Collaborate with other Health Professionals and key stakeholders regarding client’s care.
• Complete case notes, reports and other correspondence in line with required standards, relevant legislative requirements and ethical guidelines.
• Attend monthly team meetings, and team led in-services.
• Engage in weekly internal supervision with the Team Leader
