Job summary

Change Futures is a Brisbane-based not-for-profit organisation delivering mental health services across the community. We seek Provisional and Registered Psychologists to support Aged Care and short-term interventions, with opportunities for professional development in a hybrid Redcliffe-region role.

You will work across multiple services, visiting Aged Care facilities and supporting clients from an office in Redcliffe area, with full-time and part-time options from September.

Qualifications

• Provisional or Registered Psychologist with AHPRA.
• Experience in Disability/Aged Care and/or community processes desirable.
• Own vehicle and Australian Driver's license.
• Blue Card and Police Check required prior to employment.
• Unrestricted work rights across Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

Responsibilities

• Deliver psychology services to a range of clients.
• Conduct face-to-face assessments and interventions for individuals/groups.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Apply culturally sensitive practices to deliver quality services.
• Maintain confidential session records and client management systems.
• Prepare detailed correspondence to stakeholders (GP letters, risk reports).
• Collaborate with agencies and allied health professionals.
• Travel daily within the Redcliffe region.

Change Futures is a Brisbane based not-for-profit organisation providing Mental Health services to a range of community groups. Our mission is to work with people of all ages to provide opportunities for positive change and to enhance their psychological and emotional well-being.

We are seeking Provisional and Registered Psychologists who are looking for professional development and growth opportunities to work across a range of Psychology Services including Aged Care and providing short term interventions for vulnerable people.

Successful candidates will be working within the Redcliffe region and we have both full time and part time options available from September. These hybrid roles will deliver services within the community visiting Aged Care facilities as well as supporting clients from an office location in the Redcliffe area.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivery of Psychology Services to a range of clients
• Providing face to face assessments and interventions to individuals/groups
• Working collaboratively and effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Working with culturally sensitive practices for clients to deliver quality psychological services
• Maintaining confidential session records and client management systems
• Composing detailed, concise correspondence to stakeholders (GP letters, risk reports)
• Collaboratively working with agencies and allied health professionals
• Daily travel within the specific region you work in

About You:

• Provisional or Registered Psychologist with AHPRA
• Prior experience in Disability / Aged Care and / or Community processes is desirable
• Own vehicle and Australian Driver's license
• Hold a current and valid Blue Card and Police Check prior to employment
• Unrestricted working rights across Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
