Job summary

Engage Personnel is seeking an experienced property lawyer for a Special Counsel/Senior Associate role in Melbourne. You will become the trusted second-in-command to the Property Partner, driving growth and shaping the practice while managing complex property matters for sophisticated clients.

Qualifications

8+ years property experience.
Strong technical capability across sophisticated property matters.
Ability to manage significant matters and client relationships autonomously.
Strong commercial judgement and excellent communication skills.
Genuine interest in mentoring and developing junior lawyers.
Collaborative, approachable and low-ego style.

Responsibilities

Act as genuine 2IC to an experienced Property Partner and contribute to the team’s growth.
Own key client and referrer relationships and help develop your own practice.
Mentor and guide the wider team with senior-level support.
Collaborate with an established referral network to grow your profile and client base.
