Job summary

Naiman Clarke is recruiting an experienced Special Counsel to join its Sydney property practice, working with two Partners on high-value matters and a clear pathway to partnership. The role focuses on leading acquisitions, developments and leasing, with a strong client-facing element.

You will mentor junior lawyers, help shape the practice's strategy, and build relationships with government and institutional clients. Hybrid working arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Special Counsel level property experience (or an SA who has been awaiting promotion).
• Broad experience across acquisitions, developments, leasing and titling.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• A commercial mindset and the ability to advise on strategy as well as legal risk.

A leading national law firm is expanding its Sydney property practice and looking for an experienced Special Counsel. You'll work closely with two highly regarded Partners on sophisticated matters and help shape the team as it grows.

The work

• Acquisitions and complex property transactions
• Large-scale developments and land subdivisions
• Titling and easement matters
• Commercial, industrial and retail leasing

Clients include NSW Government agencies, developers, institutions, national retailers and high net worth individuals.
