Beacon Legal in Sydney CBD seeks a Commercial Property Lawyer at Associate or Senior Associate level to join the Sydney Real Estate practice.

You’ll advise on significant commercial property transactions, leases and development projects, while mentoring junior lawyers and building direct client relationships with experienced partners. A national mid-tier firm with WFH flexibility and strong growth opportunities.

Formación

• 3+ years PQE in commercial property.
• Experience across leasing, acquisitions and disposals.
• Exposure to property development and complex transactions.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage matters and liaise with clients.

Responsabilidades

• Advising on significant commercial property acquisitions and disposals.
• Drafting and negotiating commercial, retail and industrial leases.
• Acting on property development projects, including subdivisions and off-the-plan transactions.
• Managing due diligence on acquisitions and investments.
• Advising developers, investors and corporate clients on complex property matters.
• Working alongside the firm's corporate, construction and finance teams on larger transactions.
• Managing matters independently and building relationships with clients.
• Assisting with the mentoring and supervision of junior lawyers.

About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Lawyer at Associate or Senior Associate level to join the firm's Sydney Real Estate practice.

You’ll work closely with experienced partners on a broad range of commercial property transactions, developments and leasing matters, with the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and develop direct relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on significant commercial property acquisitions and disposals.
• Drafting and negotiating commercial, retail and industrial leases.
• Acting on property development projects, including subdivisions and off-the-plan transactions.
• Managing due diligence on commercial property acquisitions and investments.

Skills & Experience

We're interested in speaking with lawyers who have:

• 3+ years PQE, with opportunities available at Associate and Senior Associate level.
• Experience in commercial property gained within a reputable boutique, mid-tier, national or international law firm.
• Strong experience across commercial leasing, acquisitions and disposals.
• Exposure to property development and complex commercial transactions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
• The confidence to manage matters and engage directly with clients.
• A commercial mindset and an interest in progressing within a growing practice.
