Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is seeking a Property Services Manager – Technical Services in Sydney to oversee all operational and engineering aspects of a premium asset. You will lead safety, building performance, and contractor coordination for a 5.5 NABERS goal and align with Macquarie’s risk mindset.

You will manage budgets, inspections, and reporting while driving energy efficiency, cyber security, and tenant service excellence in a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in a critical engineering environment or premium asset.
• Minimum 5 years as a Senior Operations Manager in A-Grade or premium properties.
• Deep technical knowledge of critical environments, electrical systems, and HVAC operations.
• Experience managing NABERS ratings, renewals, BEEC processes.
• Qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical trade.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily operations of all critical engineering systems, including HVAC, electrical, vertical transport, and cyber security protocols.
• Oversee specialist engineering contractors, ensuring works comply with contract scopes, terms, and safety standards.
• Lead WHS programs and promote a risk-focused safety culture on site.
• Monitor building performance to maintain and exceed NABERS 5.5 Star target.
• Prepare and manage annual property operations and capital expenditure budgets; monitor quarterly performance.
• Coordinate annual fire safety compliance statements and collaborate with stakeholders.

Designed to achieve a 5.5 Star NABERS Energy rating, this landmark asset offers an inspiring environment where you will lead efforts to maintain premium operational standards.An overview of the role:Manage and coordinate daily operations of all critical engineering systems, including HVAC, electrical, vertical transport, and cyber security protocols.Oversee specialist engineering contractors, ensuring all works comply with contract scopes, terms, and safety standards.Prioritize workplace health and safety by leading the site-specific WHS programs and promoting a risk-focused safety culture.Monitor building performance to maintain and exceed target environmental ratings, including the 5.5 Star NABERS Energy goal.Prepare and manage annual property operations and capital expenditure budgets, monitoring financial performance on a quarterly basis.Perform periodic building inspections to evaluate equipment conditions, coordinate preventative maintenance, and mitigate operational risks.Collaborate closely with Macquarie representatives, retail partners, and office tenants to ensure high-quality service and seamless communication.Manage engineering change requests and participate in tenant refurbishment programs from initial review through to commissioning.Generate detailed operational reports, track essential safety certifications, and coordinate annual fire safety compliance statements.Sounds like you?
