Job summary

Gough Recruitment Melbourne is seeking an experienced Property Manager to take ownership of an established local portfolio of residential properties in Melbourne. You will manage landlord and tenant relationships, coordinate maintenance, and ensure compliance with Victorian tenancy laws.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing a residential property portfolio.
• Strong understanding of Victorian residential tenancy legislation.
• Confident managing landlord and tenant relationships.
• Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Comfortable managing maintenance, rent reviews, arrears and lease renewals.
• Proactive, professional and able to work autonomously.
• Someone who takes pride in their portfolio and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an established portfolio of approximately 150 residential properties.
• Manage landlord and tenant relationships, providing consistent communication and service.
• Oversee maintenance requests, coordinating trades and ensuring issues are followed through.
• Manage rent reviews, lease renewals, arrears and tenancy documentation.
• Oversee routine inspections, with dedicated field support assisting with inspections and other field requirements.
• Work closely with your VA to manage administration and keep day-to-day tasks under control.
• Maintain compliance with Victorian residential tenancy legislation.
• Build strong relationships with landlords, tenants and service providers.
