Australia Underwriting Pty Ltd in Melbourne seeks experienced Property & Liability Underwriters to take greater ownership of a growing portfolio with binder authority and direct broker engagement.

You will underwrite new business and renewals, assess risk, negotiate terms, and build profitable relationships with brokers, supported by leadership in a specialist underwriting environment.

Formación

• At least four years’ underwriting experience in Property and Liability.
• Experience under binder/delegated authority and handling both new business and renewals.
• Strong underwriting and risk assessment skills with commercial judgement.

Responsabilidades

• Underwriting Property and Liability risks for new business and renewals within binder authority.
• Assess submissions, risk information, claims history and exposures to determine pricing, terms, conditions, deductibles and coverage.
• Managing referrals for risks outside delegated authority.
• Negotiating terms with brokers and developing strong broker relationships.
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities to grow the portfolio while maintaining underwriting discipline and profitability.
