Job summary

Colin Biggers & Paisley is seeking a Property & Development Solicitor at Senior Associate or Special Counsel level in Melbourne. You will provide strategic legal advice on leasing, development projects and property portfolios, while staying current with case law and legislation to deliver timely counsel.

You will manage a heavy workload, develop client relationships, and contribute to business development while maintaining a practical, client-focused approach and strong teamwork within the

Qualifications

• Leasing and transactional experience is essential.
• Subdivision and development law experience is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to manage large volumes of documents with accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and client-focused problem solving.
• Proven ability to build client relationships and some BD exposure.
• Ability to run matters autonomously and manage client expectations.
• Collaborative team player with clear communication across levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide clients with commercial legal advice and guidance.
• Regularly review applicable case law and legislative changes.
• Conduct effective legal research to deliver timely, accurate advice.
• Manage a robust workload with prioritisation and quality service.
• Develop understanding of client operations and strategy.
• Manage prospective client relationships and business development activities.
