Job summary

Guild Insurance is seeking a claims professional to manage a portfolio of property claims from notification through to settlement, delivering positive outcomes for customers and developing technical expertise. The role welcomes those with experience in commercial or domestic property claims and offers hybrid working arrangements in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.

Qualifications

• Experience in general insurance claims, preferably commercial property.
• Customer-focused with ability to build relationships.
• Sound judgement, clear communication and attention to detail.
• ANZIIF qualifications or equivalent insurance qualifications are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of property claims from notification through to settlement.
• Develop and execute claim strategies that support positive customer outcomes.
• Make indemnity decisions, manage reserves and oversee claim progression.
• Work closely with customers, brokers, assessors, repairers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage complaints and complex customer conversations with professionalism and empathy.
• Identify opportunities to improve claims processes, service delivery and customer outcomes.
