Job summary

Guild Insurance is seeking a claims professional to join the Claims team and manage a portfolio of property claims from notification through to settlement, delivering outcomes that enhance customer satisfaction while expanding technical expertise.

You’ll work in a hybrid environment across Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane, collaborating with customers, brokers and internal stakeholders, with ongoing learning and development in a specialist property-claims area.

Qualifications

• Previous claims experience within the general insurance industry, ideally within commercial property claims.
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to build effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Strong communication, judgement and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced claims environment.
• Experience working with customers, brokers, assessors, repairers or other relevant stakeholders.
• ANZIIF qualifications or equivalent insurance qualifications will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of property claims from notification through to settlement.
• Develop and execute claim strategies that support positive customer outcomes.
• Make indemnity decisions, manage reserves and oversee claim progression.
• Work closely with customers, brokers, assessors, repairers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage complaints and complex customer conversations with professionalism and empathy.
• Identify opportunities to improve claims processes, service delivery and customer outcomes.

About You

We're looking for a claims professional who enjoys problem solving, building relationships and helping customers through what can often be a challenging time.

You may currently be managing commercial property claims, or you may be an experienced domestic property claims professional looking to broaden your exposure and take the next step in your career.

You’ll bring:

• Previous claims experience within the general insurance industry, ideally within commercial property claims.
