Job summary

John Holland Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Property Advisor to coordinate property works on the T2D Alliance project in Adelaide. You will work with property owners, consultants and subcontractors to ensure inspections, treatment and remediation are delivered safely and to a high standard.

The role combines property interface management, project coordination and contract administration to deliver outcomes for property owners directly impacted by the project.

Qualifications

• Experience in property interface management, construction, infrastructure or related field.
• Strong stakeholder management with property owners, councils and consultants.
• Experience coordinating and managing subcontractors or external service providers.
• Strong commercial and administrative capability, including budgets, programs and progress claims.
• Practical understanding of construction methodology and site delivery with constructability input.
• Excellent communication skills for sensitive enquiries and complex stakeholder matters.
• Highly organised with ability to manage multiple work packages, priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive, safety and quality focused with positive outcomes for property owners.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of acoustic façade treatment packages and property amenity/remediation works from inspection to completion.
• Attend property inspections with acoustic consultants and provide constructability input.
• Act as point of contact for property owners and coordinate with Stakeholder Engagement team.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors delivering acoustic inspections and remediation works.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with safety, quality and risk requirements.
• Manage contract administration including progress, budgets, programs and payments.
• Maintain property records across GIS, SharePoint, Excel and project systems.
• Support approvals, client communications and project documentation with Property Interface Manager.
• Coordinate with councils and utilities for pre- and post-construction surveys.
• Oversee contractual compliance and issue resolution for property matters.

Job description

The consortium of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has been selected to build South Australia's biggest-ever road infrastructure project. In partnership with the South Australian Government, this consortium forms the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance.

The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, will deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, forming a continuous 78 km, non-stop, traffic light-free motorway, and contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.

The T2D Project involves constructing two separate tunnels – the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels connected by an open motorway, with a combined total distance of 10.5km, open to traffic in 2031. The T2D project comprises the tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction in addition to services buildings and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure. The T2D Alliance is committed to providing opportunities for local people, Aboriginal workers, apprentices, trainees and job seekers who are long-term unemployed and offers people an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Property Advisor to join our Services team and play a key role in coordinating property works across the project. Reporting to the Property Interface Manager, you’ll work closely with property owners, consultants, subcontractors, councils, utilities and project teams to ensure property inspections, treatment and remediation works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll combine property, project coordination, stakeholder engagement and contract administration to help deliver outcomes for property owners directly impacted by the project.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a significant of acoustic façade treatment packages and property amenity/remediation works from initial inspection through to completion.
• Attend property inspections with acoustic consultants and provide constructability advice to develop practical treatment solutions.
• Act as a key Alliance point of contact for property owners, responding to enquiries and coordinating resolutions with the Stakeholder Engagement and Communications team.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and consultants delivering acoustic inspections, property treatments and remediation works.
• Monitor and manage subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with T2D safety, quality, environmental and risk requirements.
• Manage contract administration, including progress, budgets, programs, deliverables, payment claims and commercial matters.
• Maintain accurate property records and data across GIS, SharePoint, Excel and project management systems.
• Support the Property Interface Manager with approvals, Aconex, client communications and project documentation.
• Coordinate with councils, utility authorities, property owners and other stakeholders regarding pre- and post-construction condition surveys.
• Oversee contractual compliance and hold-point releases, while proactively identifying and resolving property-related issues.

About You

• Experience in property interface management, construction, infrastructure, project management, contract administration or a related field.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence engaging with property owners, contractors, consultants and project teams.
• Experience coordinating and managing subcontractors or external service providers.
• Strong commercial and administrative capability, including exposure to budgets, programs, contracts and progress claims.
• Practical understanding of construction methodology and site delivery, with the ability to provide constructability input.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage sensitive enquiries, complaints and complex stakeholder matters professionally.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple work packages, properties, priorities and deadlines.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong commitment to safety, quality, compliance and delivering positive outcomes for property owners.
• Experience in residential building works (retrofit), including acoustic treatments highly desirable.
