Job summary

Gold Fields is seeking a Supervisory Projects professional to lead from the front across underground and surface facilities work. You will drive scope development, scheduling, commissioning documentation, and close-out records while managing budgets and risk with a strong safety culture.

You will inspect field work, verify quality, and ensure critical controls are in place. A trade qualification or PM experience is desirable, with a valid driver’s licence and proven mine-site leadership.

Qualifications

• Must hold a statutory supervision qualification and risk management units.
• Trade qualification and/or project management is desirable.
• Valid manual driver’s licence.
• Experience in a similar supervisory role on mine sites.
• Strong problem-solving and field decision-making.
• Knowledge of permits, JHAs, risk assessments, isolations and change management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop scopes, schedules, work packs, ITPs, ITRs, commissioning documentation and close-out records.
• Budget and forecast expenditure; analyse project risks and opportunities.
• Conduct field inspections; verify work quality; ensure critical controls.
• Develop and review JHAs, risk assessments, permits, lift plans and management of change.
• Plan shutdowns with stakeholders; manage SIMOPS; minimize disruption.
• Model core values and foster an inclusive team culture.
