Job summary

Our Client is an Australian subsidiary of a major international supplier of bulk powder and packaging line solutions. The role covers the full sales-to-installation cycle for refits and upgrades across diverse installations.

The successful candidate will hold tertiary or trade qualifications in electrical or mechanical disciplines, have PLC knowledge, and be able to design, quote, manage, and install with strong customer service. Travel locally and interstate may be required.

Qualifications

• Tertiary or trade qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical.
• Working knowledge of PLC operation/programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens or Omron).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Project.
• Ability to visualise concepts and translate to working solutions.
• Understanding of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic aspects of process machines.
• Strong computer skills and autonomous work style.
• Detail oriented with commitment to right first time.

Responsibilities

• Site assessment and quotation of upgrades and retrofits.
• Prepare design drawings and documentation with internal design team.
• Prepare and submit quotations and secure purchase orders.
• Project management of build and suppliers.
• Hands-on installation and commissioning of upgrades and retrofit.
• Customer training.
• Head Office based role with occasional local/in interstate travel.
