Job summary

NSW Health is seeking a dedicated Aboriginal Workforce team member to contribute to health improvements across NSW. This ongoing role focuses on administration, documentation, and supporting Aboriginal workforce projects within the NSW Ministry of Health.

Applicants should be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, with strong administrative, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, and a commitment to cultural safety in health services across the state.

Qualifications

• Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity.
• Strong administrative and document management skills.
• Demonstrable project support skills and/or experience.
• Strong communication and engagement skills.
• Knowledge of Aboriginal workforce and cultural safety priorities.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administration, documentation and record management in line with team and project requirements.
• Support the implementation of project activities with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and delivery of a range of Aboriginal workforce and cultural safety projects.
• Assist with program / project monitoring in line with established objectives.
