Job summary

UniSC Careers seeks a Project Support Coordinator on the Sunshine Coast Campus to drive planning, delivery and change for the Clinic Practice Management System. You will coordinate activities, governance and reporting, engaging stakeholders across the university to ensure successful implementation.

Join a collaborative team in a fixed-term role until February 2027, with a salary in the block of $105,843–$115,703 per year and up to 17% employer superannuation.

Qualifications

  • End-to-end project delivery using recognised PM frameworks.
  • Change management planning and communication strategies.
  • Assess change impacts and prepare staff for new systems/policies.
  • Experience implementing and improving systems in a university or similar complex environment.
  • Strong business analysis, documentation and option evaluation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate planning, implementation and delivery of the Clinic Practice Management System managing governance, risk and reporting.
  • Lead change management, communication and stakeholder engagement activities including training.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and services via research and process redesign.

  • Academic Support Unit | UniSC Sunshine Coast Campus, Sippy Downs
  • Level 7 $105,843 - $115,703 p.a., plus up to 17% employer superannuation
  • Full-time (36.25 hours per week), Fixed-term appointment until Feb 2027
The Opportunity

As Project Support Coordinator, you'll play a central role in coordinating the successful delivery of the project from planning through to implementation. Working closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts and project teams, you'll help drive project outcomes, lead change and communication activities, and ensure staff are supported throughout the transition.

You will
  • Coordinate and support the planning, implementation and successful delivery of the Clinic Practice Management System, ensuring project activities, documentation, governance, risk, reporting and assurance requirements are effectively managed in accordance with the UniSC Project Management Framework and relevant University policies and procedures;
  • Lead and coordinate the change management, communication and stakeholder engagement activities associated with the implementation, including change impact assessments, communication and implementation plans, and training and support; and
  • Identify and deliver opportunities to improve ASU and School processes, systems and services through research, analysis, process redesign and continuous improvement, applying best practice approaches to enhance operational effectiveness, governance and the student and customer experience

You can balance competing priorities, navigate complex stakeholder environments and communicate confidently with diverse audiences, while coordinating project activities, analysing business processes, facilitating change and supporting end users through new system implementations. Most importantly, you’re motivated by the opportunity to deliver meaningful organisational improvements that support education, healthcare and community outcomes.

You will possess:
  • Demonstrated experience in end‑to‑end project delivery, including analysis, requirements gathering, solution development, and implementation using recognised project management frameworks and toolsets (e.g. ServiceNow, Case Management, Microsoft 365);
  • Demonstrated experience in change management delivery using recognised change methodologies, including the development and implementation of change management plans and communication strategies;
  • Strong understanding of organisational change processes and the ability to assess change impacts and prepare staff for new systems, policies, or processes;
  • Experience implementing and improving systems and business processes in a university or similarly complex environment;
  • Strong business analysis capability, including the ability to research, evaluate options, prepare documentation, and recommend business process improvements;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including confidentiality, diplomacy, active listening, and productive relationship building with stakeholders; and
  • Demonstrated adaptability and agility, with the ability to quickly take on new initiatives and respond to changing operational requirements.
