Job summary

UniSC Sunshine Coast invites applications for a Change Manager, Timetabling. You will lead organisational change and communication across the project lifecycle to support the adoption of new timetabling processes and ways of working.

This is a full‑time, fixed‑term 12‑month appointment at Level 8, with a salary of $118,986–$134,756 p.a., plus up to 17% employer superannuation. Join a university-wide transformation and partner with project teams and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualifications in organisational change, project management, or communications with extensive experience.
• Extensive knowledge of contemporary change management approaches applied in complex service environments.
• Significant experience leading change and transformation initiatives, including impact assessments.
• Experience delivering communication, change management and training activities to support adoption.
• Excellent business acumen and stakeholder relationship management with diplomacy.
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills for confidentiality and empathy.

The Opportunity

UniSC's PACE Learning and Teaching Model is a major University-wide transformation designed to enhance the student learning experience and support contemporary approaches to teaching and learning. Its implementation is creating new opportunities to improve how students, academics and professional staff engage with learning, teaching and timetabling, supported by new processes, systems and ways of working.

As the Change Manager, Timetabling, you will lead organisational change and communication activities to support the successful adoption of new timetabling processes and ways of working across the University. Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you will assess impacts and readiness, manage resistance, build stakeholder confidence and ensure change is effectively embedded, providing senior change management expertise across a complex, University-wide transformation

You will

• lead the planning and delivery of change management and communication activities across the project lifecycle to support successful adoption of new timetabling processes and ways of working;
• build strong relationships with stakeholders across the University, conducting impact and readiness assessments, identifying resistance and developing strategies to support effective change adoption; and
• provide expert change management advice across projects, managing risks and quality while contributing to the continuous improvement of change management frameworks, practices and organisational capability.

About you

You are an experienced change management professional with a strong track record of leading organisational change within complex environments. You bring a practical and people-focused approach to transformation, with the ability to understand business impacts, build readiness and support stakeholders through significant change.

A confident and collaborative relationship builder, you can influence stakeholders at all levels and navigate complex environments with empathy, diplomacy and sound business judgement. You are skilled at translating change objectives into practical strategies that engage people, manage resistance and support successful adoption.

You will possess:

• Postgraduate qualifications in organisational change, project management, communications or a related discipline, together with extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of extensive experience and expertise;
• Extensive knowledge of contemporary organisational change management approaches and demonstrated experience applying them within complex service environments;
• Significant experience leading change and transformation initiatives, including change impact and readiness assessments, stakeholder engagement and adoption strategies;
• Demonstrated experience developing and delivering communication, change management and training activities that support business transformation and successful adoption of change;
• Excellent business acumen, relationship management and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, identify impacts, manage resistance and build readiness for change; and
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to exercise confidentiality, diplomacy, active listening, empathy and respect when working with diverse stakeholders and teams.
