Job summary

Modscape is seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to oversee factory-based modular housing project delivery. You will liaise with Project Managers, trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure modules are delivered safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.

Experience in commercial construction will be essential for interpreting drawings, coordinating trades, and ensuring compliance with Australian Building Standards while maintaining production targets.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in residential construction, modular housing, or similar built-form delivery.
• Strong understanding of commercial building methods, codes, and Australian Standards.
• Ability to read and interpret residential drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Solid leadership skills with the ability to guide and support site/factory teams.
• Strong planning, organisation, and time management capability.
• Commitment to safety and quality in construction environments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• White Card and current driver's licence (essential).

Responsibilities

• Supervising modular construction activities within the factory environment
• Ensuring works are completed in line with construction drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Monitoring progress and providing updates to the Project Manager
• Enforcing strict adherence to OH&S requirements and Modscape's safety systems
• Conducting quality inspections and ensuring defect-free handover standards
• Planning and sequencing work to align with productions schedules
• Supporting resolution of site/factory issues and driving practical constructionsolutions

Abouttherole

WeareseekinganexperiencedProjectSupervisorwithstrongcommercialconstructionormodularhousingexperiencetooverseefactory-basedprojectdelivery.

ReportingtotheConstructionManager(FactoryVIC),youwillactasthekeylinkbetweenProjectManagers,trades,subcontractors,andsuppliers,ensuringmodulesaredeliveredsafely,efficiently,andtothehighestqualitystandards.

Yourexperienceincommercialconstructionwillbeessentialininterpretingdrawings,coordinatingtrades,andensuringcompliancewithAustralianbuildingstandardswhilemaintainingprogramandproductiontargets.
