Job summary

Bluestone is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end modular construction projects from award to handover in Melbourne. You will coordinate engineering, procurement and construction teams, manage timelines and budgets, and maintain strong client relationships while reporting to the Project Director.

Ideal candidates bring Tier 1/2 construction delivery experience, strong planning skills, and excellent communication.

As demand for digital infrastructure continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of multiple modular construction projects from contract award through to client handover.
This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within one of the fastest growing sectors in construction.

The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will take ownership of the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with engineering, procurement, suppliers and clients, you'll become the key point of contact responsible for driving project outcomes while maintaining exceptional client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of modular construction projects
• Develop and manage detailed project programmes and critical milestones
• Coordinate engineering, procurement and construction activities
• Lead project meetings and provide regular reporting to stakeholders
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
• Manage procurement schedules and supplier performance
• Oversee project documentation, variations and quality processes
• Monitor programme risks and proactively resolve issues
• Support factory inspections and site activities where required
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality and contractual obligations

About You

We're looking for an organised and commercially minded Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced delivery environment.

You’ll ideally possess:

• Proven experience delivering complex construction or engineering projects (Tier 1 or 2 head contractor experience ideal)
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Strong planning and programme management capabilities
• Excellent commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
• Experience using Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software
• A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or similar
