Project Scheduler

Our client is seeking an exceptional Project Scheduler to join their team based in ACT.

The client is a frontrunner in the Defence consultancy space, where they provide expert consulting/advice to the Australian Defence sector, focusing on PMO skillsets.

The Scheduler will be responsible for building and maintaining the master schedule, working as part of the wider PMO team and will require excellent stakeholder engagement/interaction skills.

The role:

• Build/manage the Project Schedule
• Contribute to the wider PMO team
• Work closely with key Project stakeholders
• Ensure the project schedule is accurately maintained at all times
• Manage internal and external clients in a friendly and professional manner
• Work with cross functional teams
• Work with the wider Business to ensure a high level of performance is maintained
• Support project meetings/updates

EXPERIENCE

• Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Project Scheduling
• Must have working knowledge of OPP (Open Plan Professional)
• Strong stakeholder interaction skills
• Worked as part of wider Defence/PMO teams
• Experience in building/maintaining project schedules
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Must have an active AGSVA issued NV1 to apply.

Candidates must have experience working alongside Defence PMO teams. This role requires candidates who will take a pragmatic approach, have a problem solving ability and a good communication style both with internal and external clients. This is a busy role that requires a level of maturity, interpersonal skill and a communication style that builds confidence and creates a successful feel.
