Job summary

Talent Web Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager to take a key role on two major client-side projects in North Sydney. The primary program is a $180m education masterplan across an operational campus, with a second $15m commercial heritage refurbishment.

You will lead day-to-day delivery across design, approvals, procurement and construction. Reporting to the Project Director, you will coordinate architects, engineers and stakeholders, manage programmes and budgets, and drive project outcomes

Qualifications

• Local client-side project management experience is essential.
• Demonstrated end-to-end project delivery capability across education or commercial sectors.
• Experience delivering new build and/or major refurbishment projects.
• Experience in education, commercial, heritage or aged care sectors is highly regarded.
• Strong design management capability.
• Experience with procurement and contract administration.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

ABOUT THE ROLE

An excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to take a key role across two significant client-side projects.

The primary project is a $180m masterplan for a leading independent school, involving the staged planning and delivery of major new and upgraded facilities across an operational campus.

You will also work across a $15m commercial heritage refurbishment, managing the complexities associated with upgrading an existing heritage asset while coordinating consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.

Working alongside an experienced Project Director, you will manage the day-to-day delivery of the projects across design, approvals, procurement and construction.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Construction, Engineering, Property or related discipline
• Local client-side Project Management experience

• Education, commercial, heritage or aged care experience highly regarded
• Strong design management capability
• Experience with procurement and contract administration
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
