Job summary

Blacktown City Council is seeking a Project Manager to lead transformational projects and the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grant program. You will manage planning, budgets, procurement, and reporting while coordinating consultants and contractors to deliver time, cost and quality outcomes.

This secure term-contract role offers a starting salary of AU$2,166.84 per week, flextime, 12% superannuation, competitive leave entitlements and ongoing development opportunities within a supportive team.

Project Manager - Transformational Projects

Our Project Management and Design teams deliver the infrastructure and facilities that support a growing city. As a Project Manager, you lead delivery of projects within the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grant program and Council’s Transformational Projects Program. Your work helps create the buildings, workplaces and community infrastructure people rely on every day.

You manage projects from planning through to completion. You prepare project plans, budgets, procurement documentation and reports. You coordinate consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders, monitor risks and project performance, and keep projects on track for time, cost and quality. You also oversee commissioning, handover and operational opening to ensure each project is ready for use.
