Job summary

Blacktown City Council is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Asset Systems to lead the move to mobile-first operations across City Assets. You will guide how inspections, work orders, scheduling, and reporting are managed, and you will coordinate CiAnywhere enhancements, mobile inspections, and data-driven improvements.

You will drive workshops, support system upgrades, and enable workforce adoption while collaborating with Parks, Roads, Fleet and Maintenance teams to deliver measurable

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise systems, asset management, operational improvement or workforce mobility.
• Strong technical and analytical capability with clear communication.
• Experience with TechnologyOne CiAnywhere enhancements is a plus.
• Experience developing Power BI dashboards and data-driven reporting.

Leadership at Blacktown City means helping shape how essential services are delivered across a growing and diverse community. As Project Manager - Asset Systems, you lead the transition to mobile-first operations across City Assets, improving how field teams manage inspections, work orders, scheduling and reporting.

You work closely with parks, roads, fleet, maintenance and asset teams to replace manual processes with connected digital systems. You coordinate TechnologyOne CiAnywhere enhancements, support mobile inspections and digital work management, develop Power BI dashboards, and improve how operational data is captured and used. You facilitate workshops, test system upgrades, support workforce adoption and work with supervisors to improve scheduling, resource allocation and productivity.

Your work helps operational teams respond faster, manage assets more effectively and make better day-to-day decisions. By improving reporting, data quality and workforce mobility, you support stronger governance, better use of Council resources and reliable services the community depends on.

This role suits an experienced leader with a background in enterprise systems, asset management, operational improvement or workforce mobility. You combine technical and analytical capability with strong communication skills and enjoy working with a broad range of stakeholders to deliver practical improvements that make a measurable difference.
