Job summary

Peoplebank is seeking an experienced Project Manager with supply chain exposure to lead a major operations transformation across multiple distribution and fulfilment sites in Western Sydney.

You will manage the delivery stream, align stakeholders, oversee milestones, and drive the future-state operating model, with a focus on retail and supply chain outcomes. This initial contract runs until June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational project delivery including scope, schedule, risks, issues, and status reporting.
• Manage operational workstream deliverables, ensuring quality outcomes, governance compliance, and timely approvals.
• Provide strategic input across project planning, activation, and execution phases.
• Drive the closure of critical actions and ensure alignment across business units and operational teams.
• Monitor project performance and proactively identify and remove delivery roadblocks.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure successful transition planning and implementation.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Project Manager with supply chain experience to play a pivotal role in a large-scale operations transformation program. This position will lead the delivery of key operational workstreams, ensuring successful project execution, stakeholder alignment, and the implementation of a future-state operating model across multiple distribution and fulfilment sites.

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will lead and manage the operational delivery stream of a major transformation initiative. You will be responsible for ensuring project milestones, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations are effectively managed while driving alignment across multiple operational sites.

Essential Experience

• 10+ years' experience delivering large-scale projects or transformation programs.
• Previous experience in the retail/ supply chain sector
• Demonstrated success managing project scope, timelines, risks, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong planning, organisational, and leadership capabilities.
• Proven ability to influence outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Experience navigating complex operational environments and driving teams towards shared objectives.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to remove barriers, manage competing priorities, and maintain project momentum.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline.
• Experience within retail, supply chain, logistics, distribution, or large operational environments.
• Strong customer-focused mindset with a track record of delivering business outcomes.
