Job summary

Talent is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a major supply chain transformation at an automated distribution centre in Western Sydney. You will own operational project delivery, coordinating people, processes and technology to drive tangible operating outcomes.

The role involves hands-on leadership across two sites, with exposure to senior leaders and a wide range of stakeholders to ensure delivery against plans and budgets. Four days onsite weekly, and a contract through to June 2027.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of delivering projects, including large-scale initiatives over $10M.
• Retail industry knowledge and understanding of supply chain operations.
• Experience with people change or insourcing.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational project plans, schedules, dependencies and deliverables.
• Track progress, manage risks and issues, and drive actions through to completion.
• Coordinate transition activities and help embed the target operating model across two sites.
• Bring together Operations, People & Culture, Technology and Safety stakeholders.
• Prepare clear status reports, governance updates and senior stakeholder communications.
• Maintain quality standards, secure approvals and resolve delivery barriers.

Our client is a major Australian organisation undertaking a significant supply chain transformation. This is your opportunity to help reshape operations across automated distribution centres, working closely with senior leaders and teams across the business.

The role

Based at the automated distribution centre in Western Sydney, you’ll join the Supply Chain Transformation team.

You’ll take ownership of operational project delivery and help bring people, processes and technology together. This role offers hands-on involvement in a complex transformation, with the opportunity to influence decisions and see your work translate into operational outcomes.
