Eastlakes Security & Controls is seeking a Project Manager to lead delivery of access control, CCTV and security projects across NSW. Based in Newcastle, you will own projects from award to handover, with a clear pathway to progression and flexible work arrangements.

The role offers $100,000–$130,000 + super, a rostered day off each month, extra Christmas leave, a paid birthday off, and strong emphasis on work‑life balance and career development.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of project management experience in the construction industry, e.g. electrical, security or similar trades.
• Formal project management qualification (minimum Certificate IV).
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Current driver’s licence.

Responsabilidades

• Taking ownership of projects from award through to handover, running several at different stages at once.
• Running project handover and pre-start, then planning programmes and resources.
• Managing budgets, procurement, variations, progress claims and forecasting.
• Coordinating technicians, suppliers and subcontractors; client liaison.
• Quality assurance, health and safety, commissioning and client handover.

Your role will include:

• Being the main point of contact for clients
• Quality assurance, health and safety, commissioning and client handover
• Helping fine-tune our systems and processes

What we need from you:

Essential

• At least 3–5 years of project management experience in the construction industry, such as electrical, security or similar trades
• A formal project management qualification (minimum Certificate IV in Project Management or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
• A quick learner who’s comfortable picking up new systems
• A drive to improve productivity and find better ways of working
• Confident, professional communication with clients and teams
• Current Driver’s Licence

Desirable

• Technical experience or knowledge of the security industry
• Experience with access control, CCTV or alarm systems
• Estimating experience
• A Security Licence, or willingness to obtain one
• Construction Induction White Card, or willingness to obtain one
• Willing to undergo a criminal history check
