Job summary

The role requires delivering on schedules, budgets and benefits while navigating complex stakeholder environments.

Qualifications

• Proven Project Management experience delivering medium to large technology projects.
• Strong governance, PMO and project controls experience.
• Experience managing project schedules, risks, budgets and reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Strong written communication skills, including executive-level reporting.
• Ability to manage competing priorities within complex project environments.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating project resources.

• Develop and maintain project management plans, schedules, budgets and reporting
• Manage project controls including risks, issues, changes, actions and lessons learned

• Coordinate governance activities, steering committees and reporting forums
• Support project assurance activities including health checks, reviews and stage gates

Project Manager - PMO

Burwood East | 3-Month Contract | Potential Extension | $80-$90 per hour + Super

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Project Manager to join a major digital transformation program within a complex and highly regulated environment.

Working within an established Project Management Office (PMO), you will be responsible for managing technology-focused projects and supporting the successful delivery of a broader transformation program.

This role will suit a confident project professional who can navigate complex stakeholder environments, maintain strong governance practices and drive outcomes across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project management plans, schedules, budgets and reporting
• Manage project controls including risks, issues, changes, actions and lessons learned
• Monitor project performance across scope, schedule, cost, quality and benefits
• Coordinate governance activities, steering committees and reporting forums

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within government or other highly regulated environments
• Digital transformation or enterprise technology project experience
• PRINCE2, PMP, PMBOK, Agile or similar project management qualifications
• Experience working on large-scale or public-profile projects
