Job summary

Trend Personnel is assisting a leading Australian Developer/Builder on the Gold Coast to appoint a seasoned Senior Project Manager responsible for delivering multi-residential projects from concept to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, cost and quality targets are met safely.

You will lead a team of ~15 staff and subcontractors, manage client and stakeholder engagement, prepare reports and maintain procurement and contracts documentation, with a strong focus on WHS compliance and on-time

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience managing multi-residential projects (20 storeys minimum).
• Experience with Tier 1 or 2 builders.
• Ability to manage a team of ~15 staff plus contractors and subcontractors.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, cost control, risk management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage project plans for projects, ensuring alignment with approved scope, schedule and budget.
• Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risk to maintain delivery targets
• Act as primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
• Prepare and present project reports, updates and financial summaries
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost controls and variations
• Review and manage project documentation, including scope, specifications, schedules, contracts and procurement documentation.

• Support the defect manager and project close-out

Our ideal applicant will be responsible for the successful delivery of multi residential projects from inception to completion, focussing on managing project scope, project schedules, cost, quality, risk and stakeholder engagement to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Our ideal applicant will have at least 5 years relevant experience in managing multi residential projects (20 storeys minimum) from concept to completion, ideally from a Tier 1 or 2 builder. You will manage a team of approx 15 staff plus contractors and subcontractors. You should be able to effectively manage project teams, consultants and contractors.

Strong project management capabilities, including scheduling, budgeting, cost control, risk management and reporting is required. Your ability to work in a fast paced environment, managing competing priorities, will stand you in good stead.

Other requirements include:

• Knowledge of relevant legislation, codes and compliance requirements in QLD
• Qualifications in construction, property, project management or related field
• Current QLD white card
