Job summary

MVL Group in Darwin is seeking an experienced Project Manager or Superintendent to lead the RAAF Base Darwin PACAF Infrastructure Upgrades project, directing planning, scheduling, and on-site operations. The role requires a strong civil/structural/mechanical background, with proven ability to coordinate subcontractors, teams, and technical deliverables across multidisciplinary works.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager or Superintendent on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong background in civil, structural, mechanical, or multi-disciplinary construction.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, teams, subcontractors, and technical deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Manage project planning, scheduling, and daily site operations
• Oversee construction of the fuel truck apron, warehouse, utility systems, drainage, security lighting, and associated civil works
• Ensure compliance with PACAF, RAAF, UFC/UFGS, safety, and contract standards
• Coordinate with QC, safety, engineering, and subcontractor teams
• Maintain project budget, track progress, and report to management
