Job summary

CMC Markets is seeking a Project Manager to lead the initiation and execution of projects across the ANZ programme, delivering business and technology solutions in a fast paced financial services environment, with responsibility for scope, milestones and governance.

You will engage with stakeholders across the business, external vendors and partners to ensure delivery on time, within spec, and will adopt agile and hybrid delivery methods.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years experience managing projects or delivering technology solutions, ideally within financial services.
• Strong project management fundamentals including governance, planning and delivery best practice.
• Experience working with both agile and waterfall methodologies and across the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, milestones and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Turn business needs into clear project plans aligned with the business roadmap.
• Coordinate internal teams, external partners and vendors to keep delivery on track.
• Monitor progress, manage dependencies, and report on risks and issues, escalating when needed.
• Maintain project plans, status reports and other key documentation; work with analysts, developers, testers and stakeholders to deliver quality solutions.
