Job summary

CMC Markets NZ Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead initiation and execution of projects across the ANZ Programme, including B2B, legal and compliance initiatives. You will engage stakeholders, vendors and partners to ensure on-time delivery of business and technology solutions.

The role requires 5–6 years in financial services with hands-on delivery and governance across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years experience managing projects or delivering technology solutions, ideally within financial services.
• Strong governance, planning and delivery best practice.
• Experience with both agile and waterfall methodologies and full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, milestones and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Turn business needs into clear project plans aligned with the business roadmap.
• Coordinate internal teams, external partners and vendors to keep delivery on track.
• Monitor progress, manage dependencies, and report on risks and issues, escalating when needed.
• Maintain project plans and status reports, and document project outcomes and benefits.
• Plan training and rollout activities with a focus on operational readiness and stability.
• Apply change management principles to support adoption.
• Coordinate with Marketing for project branding and client communications.
• Follow compliance guidelines and data protection standards.
