Job summary

Whittens is recruiting a Project Manager for a civil infrastructure project involving a precast arch underpass, roadworks, earthworks, drainage, services and significant brownfield operational interface. This will be FIFO from WA to Newman on a mutually agreeable roster.

Demonstrated experience on civil projects, tertiary qualifications in Civil/Construction/PM, and FIFO/DIDO roster exposure are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience on civil projects $5–$50M with a Civil Contractor is required.
• FIFO or DIDO roster experience preferred.
• S26 Certification preferred.
• Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, construction, or project management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery for civil infrastructure works from planning to execution.
• Coordinate with site teams, clients, and Whittens leadership to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.
• Manage interfaces between precast arch underpass works, roadworks, earthworks and drainage.
• Maintain strong relationships and drive a high-performance, safety-first culture.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

About you:

• Demonstrated experience working on civil projects $5-50M in size with a Civil Contractor –A must
• Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction or Project Management –Preferred
• Previous experience onsite working a FIFO or DIDO roster
• S26 Certified - Preferred
• Highly organised with strong planning and time management across multiple work fronts.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to strengthen relationships with Clients, site teams and Whitten's leadership.
• Commercially astute with proven success
