Job summary

Whittens is recruiting a Project Manager for a civil infrastructure project involving precast arch underpass, roadworks and earthworks. FIFO from WA to Newman on a mutually agreed roster. You will lead delivery with a focus on safety, planning and client relationships.

Ideal candidates have civil project experience in the $5–$50M range, with a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering/Construction/PM and FIFO/DIDO rosters. S26 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience on civil projects in the $5–$50M range on a civil contractor.
• Preferred qualifications in civil engineering, construction or project management.
• Onsite FIFO or DIDO roster experience is preferred.
• S26 Certification is preferred.
• Strong planning and time management across multiple fronts.
• Excellent client, site team and leadership communication.
• Commercial acumen and a safety-minded leadership style.
• Commitment to a high-performance culture and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a civil infrastructure project including precast elements and roadworks.
• Manage FIFO from WA to Newman on a mutually agreed roster.
• Coordinate across site teams, clients and Whittens leadership.
• Promote safety, performance culture and relationship building.

About The Project

We are recruiting a Project Manager for a civil infrastructure project involving a precast arch underpass, roadworks, earthworks, drainage, services and significant brownfield operational interface. This will be FIFO from WA to Newman on a mutually agreeable roster.

About You

• Demonstrated experience working on civil projects $5-50M in size with a Civil Contractor - A must
• Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction or Project Management -Preferred
• Previous experience onsite working a FIFO or DIDO roster
• S26 Certified - Preferred
• Highly organised with strong planning and time management across multiple work fronts.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to strengthen relationships with Clients, site teams and Whitten's leadership.
• Commercially astute with proven success
• Be a Visible leader committed to safety and integrity, leading by example.
