Job summary

Hey Amara in Adelaide, SA invites an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to join its civil construction team. You will manage 2–3 medium-sized commercial civil projects from estimating through to completion, ensuring safety, timeliness and budget control.

The role requires strong civil project management and estimating skills, with a focus on cost control, reading technical drawings and stakeholder engagement. Hybrid office/site work is offered with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in civil construction.
• Strong civil project management and estimating experience.
• Excellent cost control and commercial knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil projects from planning through to completion.
• Prepare estimates, tenders and project proposals.
• Manage budgets, costs, cash flow and project schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and site teams.
• Manage variations, claims, EOTs and contractual requirements.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to join a well-established civil construction team.

You’ll manage 2–3 medium-sized commercial civil projects from estimating through to completion, with a focus on delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage civil projects from planning through to completion
• Prepare estimates, tenders and project proposals
• Manage budgets, costs, cash flow and project schedules
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and site teams
• Manage variations, claims, EOTs and contractual requirements
• Ensure WHS, quality and project compliance
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships

Projects Include

• Car parks
• Paving preparation
• Building pads
• Cut & fill
• Small roadworks
• Commercial civil works

About You

• 5+ years' experience in civil construction
• Strong civil project management and estimating experience
• Excellent cost control and commercial knowledge
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant Construction Management or Civil Engineering qualification highly regarded
• Strong civil construction knowledge is essential.
