Job summary

Pearson Carter is partnering with an established digital infrastructure specialist to deliver large-scale data centre projects from Rosebery, Sydney. The Project Manager will lead planning, delivery and handover, coordinating site teams and subcontractors to meet tight schedules and budgets.

Company

Pearson Carter is partnering with an established digital infrastructure specialist expanding its data centre delivery team. You’ll take ownership of large-scale, mission-critical projects, with opportunities to develop your skills and progress as the business grows.

Responsibilities

• Lead data centre projects from planning through to delivery and handover, keeping work on schedule and within budget.
• Manage site teams, technicians and subcontractors to deliver against technical specifications and client expectations.
• Take ownership of project budgets, forecasting, costs and variations to maintain strong commercial performance.
• Coordinate clients, suppliers and internal teams to resolve delivery challenges and keep projects moving.
• Maintain high standards of safety and quality throughout on-site delivery.

Experience

Essential:

• Proven project management experience delivering data centre projects within a contractor or trade environment.
• Experience leading larger delivery teams and coordinating subcontractors.
• Strong financial and commercial skills, including budgeting, cost control and managing variations.
• Practical technical knowledge and a hands‑on understanding of site delivery.

An advantage:

• A trade or tools background, with previous experience as a technician or Site Manager.
• Progression from hands‑on technical delivery into project management.
• Relevant project management qualifications.

Salary

160,000–190,000, with flexibility up to 200,000 depending on experience.
