Job summary

Department of Communities is seeking a Project Manager – Community Recovery to lead the strategic and operational management of community recovery projects in Western Australia. You will develop strategic plans and build partnerships to support individual, family and community wellbeing throughout recovery.

This is a full-time fixed-term position available from 04 January 2027 for 6 months with potential extension or permanency.

Responsibilities

• Managing project deliverables for effective assessment of needs, identification of programs and services, management of relationships, teams and project outcomes.
• Leading multidisciplinary, inter-agency project teams and mentoring staff to achieve deliverables.
• Documenting, monitoring and reporting on project plans through the life cycle to deliver on schedule, scope, time and quality.
