Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Brisbane team. You will lead projects end-to-end, coordinating planning, delivery and stakeholder engagement to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will act as the primary client contact, guiding project teams and consultants through all stages with clear, consistent communication and robust reporting. A strong local market knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience, ideally client-side or in consultancy.
• A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture or related discipline.
• Strong communication and relationship skills for complex stakeholder groups.
• Sharp organisational skills and close attention to detail.
• Self-motivation to run projects independently while contributing to a multi-state team.

Responsibilities

• Run a portfolio of projects at different stages, from feasibility to completion.
• Apply knowledge of Brisbane planning and construction environment to provide practical advice.
• Keep clients, consultants and project teams informed with clear, regular reporting.
• Implement controls across programming, cost management and risk.
• Work closely with senior leadership as the main client contact.

About the Role
Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll lead projects from start to finish, covering planning, coordination and delivery. Clients will rely on you as their main contact, and you’ll make sure each project is delivered on time, on budget and to scope.

Day to day, you will:

Run a portfolio of projects at different stages, from early feasibility through to completion

Use your knowledge of Brisbane’s planning and construction environment to give clients sound, practical advice

Keep clients, consultants and project teams informed with clear, regular reporting

Apply strong controls across programming, cost management and risk

About You
You’re a confident, commercially minded project lead who knows the local property and construction market well. You’ll bring:

At least 4 years of project management experience, ideally client-side or in a consultancy

A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture or a related discipline

Strong communication and relationship skills, and the ability to handle complex stakeholder groups with ease

Sharp organisational skills and close attention to detail

The self-motivation to run projects independently while still contributing to a team that spans several states
