Job summary

LFL Projects Pty Ltd is seeking a Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial development projects in the Brisbane area. The role is based in our Brisbane office with regular site attendance, reporting to senior management.

You will assist in planning, execution and delivery, ensuring projects stay on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have experience in property or construction industries, a QBCC license is a nice-to-have, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing comprehensive project plans with timelines, resources, and risk mitigation.

• Monitor progress, address issues, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with construction regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and stakeholders to meet or exceed expectations.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation to track project performance and inform improvements.

Job description

As a client side Project Manager at LFL Projects Pty Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of residential and commercial development projects in the Brisbane area. Reporting to the senior management team, you will be responsible for assisting all aspects of project planning, execution, and completion, helping to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This full-time position is based in our Brisbane office and requires regular attendance to site.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting in the development of implementation of comprehensive project plans, including setting timelines, allocating resources, and identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies
• Coordinating and managing project teams, including consultants, agents and vendors, to ensure the efficient and timely completion of tasks
• Assisting in the monitoring of project progress, identifying and addressing issues, and providing regular updates to stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant construction regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards
• Collaborating with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver projects that meet or exceed their expectations
• Preparing detailed reports and documentation to track project performance and inform future improvements

What we’re looking for

• experience within property or construction related industries;
• A candidate with a QBCC license or eligibility to hold a QBCC license is a nice to have but not expected.
• Ability to work within a dynamic environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project
