Job summary

Dsa Contracting Pty Ltd in New South Wales is seeking a Project Manager to lead site teams and drive successful delivery of residential subdivision and earthworks projects, with a strong focus on program, budget and WHSE requirements for sites around The Hills Shire Council.

You will apply your civil construction expertise to manage project strategy, oversee cost tracking, subcontractor management and contract administration, and proactively identify risks to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Project Manager with residential subdivision and earthworks delivery.
• Experience with bulk earthworks, roads, drainage and civil infrastructure.
• Commercial acumen with exposure to cost control and forecasting.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• A proactive and positive attitude with initiative.

Job description

The Project Manager is responsible for leading and working with the Site Team (Supervisor, Engineer and Surveyor) to help achieve successful delivery of the project with regards to program, budget along with WHSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply comprehensive knowledge of civil construction to manage project strategy and execution

Lead the team through delivery of successful projects through the necessary requirements associated with programming, cost tracking and subcontractor management

Fulfill contract administration tasks to ensure successful project delivery

Proactively identifying and managing project risks, issues and delivery constraints

Monitor daily site operations to optimise resource allocation and plant usage

Identify and implement cost-effective strategies for managing site-related expenses

Key Requirements:

Experience as a Project Manager along with 5+ years experience

Proven delivery experience on residential subdivision and earthworks projects

Strong understanding of bulk earthworks, roads, drainage, and associated civil infrastructure

Commercial acumen with exposure to project cost control and forecasting

A proactive and solutions-focused approach
