C2 Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Building Engineering Services to lead critical facilities projects in telecommunications and data-centre environments across Queensland. You’ll oversee end-to-end delivery, coordinating across electrical, mechanical, HVAC and facilities infrastructure, contractors and internal teams.

The role requires a degree in engineering and about 5+ years of project delivery experience, with a track record of safe, on-time, on-budget outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in project delivery within building services or critical infrastructure.
• Experience across electrical, mechanical, HVAC and data‑centre facilities.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices and regulatory compliance.
• Proven contractor and vendor management, budgeting and stakeholder engagement.

• Deliver building engineering services projects from scope through to completion.

C2 is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Building Engineering Services to lead the delivery of critical facilities projects across telecommunications and data‑centre environments.

You’ll manage end‑to‑end projects that protect network reliability, safety and performance—working across building infrastructure, specialist contractors, internal stakeholders and technical teams.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver building engineering services projects from scope through to completion


• Manage upgrades across substations, generators, air‑conditioning systems, façades, energy‑efficiency controls and data‑centre fitouts


• Coordinate projects involving AC power infrastructure, fire detection and protection, building works and emergency power systems


• Lead project planning, reporting, financial controls, procurement and vendor performance


• Review scopes, designs and quotations to ensure compliance, quality and value


• Develop feasibility studies, business cases, project briefs and delivery plans


• Monitor contractor performance, safety, quality, schedule and budget outcomes


• Build strong working relationships with planners, technical specialists, contractors, consultants and project stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

• A degree in Engineering or a related discipline


• Around 5+ years’ experience in project delivery, building services, construction management or critical infrastructure


• Experience working across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, data‑centre or facilities infrastructure


• Strong knowledge of construction practices, regulatory requirements and compliance obligations


• Proven capability in contractor and vendor management, project controls, budgeting and stakeholder engagement


• A track record of delivering complex projects safely, on time and within budget


• Telecommunications, network facilities or data‑centre experience will be highly regarded.

You’ll work on meaningful infrastructure programs where quality delivery, sound technical judgement and strong stakeholder partnerships make a direct difference.
