Job summary

XPT Software in Sydney seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex application projects. You will own the delivery lifecycle, manage scope, schedule, cost and quality, and oversee plans, milestones and dependencies.

The role requires strong client and stakeholder management, governance, budgeting, and revenue oversight. You will lead project managers, scrum masters and delivery teams, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of projects and programs across the application development lifecycle.
• Ensure delivery commitments are achieved with respect to scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
• Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Oversee Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Drive release planning, deployment, and transition activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders.
• Act as the primary escalation point for delivery-related issues.
• Conduct governance meetings, project reviews, and steering committee discussions.
• Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
• Ensure financial targets and contractual obligations are achieved.
• Lead and manage project managers, scrum masters, technical leads, and delivery teams.
• Drive workforce planning and resource allocation.
