The Wulguru Group's Rail Division is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the planning, monitoring and execution of large rolling-stock maintenance projects at our South Townsville depot.

You will collaborate with management and customers to develop maintenance plans, manage variations and resources, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards. A strong background in maintenance, engineering, and ERP/CMMS systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or tertiary training in a relevant field is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in maintenance, engineering or production-based roles.
• Experience or exposure to MRP/ERP/CMMS maintenance planning systems such as SAP, Epicor, Maximo, Oracle, AX, Dynamics etc.
• Experience in rail, aviation, oil and gas, mining or minerals processing industries highly desirable but proven experience in heavy industry is crucial.
• Experience in use of Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Exposure to QA/QC and Engineering systems and procedures is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders across multiple levels of the organisation to effectively plan the execution of work in alignment with the Production Plan.
• Manage the project’s contract.
• Manage the projects const control systems
• Identify, assess, manage and report project risks and issues.
• Lead and contribute to the development of project management practices and systems across the company.
• Supervise other staff as allocated within both project and business organisation charts
• Drive a positive culture amongst work groups and enact continuous improvement

Our Rail Division is seeking a Project Manager to work closely with our management team and staff to ensure the timely execution of rollingstock maintenance contracts in accordance with company policies and best practices.

About the role:

Wulguru Rail Maintenance is an independent maintenance provider to the Rail industry.

Our large rollingstock maintenance depot is located in South Townsville and services all major Rail Operators in Queensland. The variety and scale of maintenance contracts makes it an exciting rewarding place to work. The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, monitoring and execution of large maintenance projects. You will be actively involved in all aspects of the project.
