Job summary

Pursuited is seeking a Project Manager to lead project delivery for a tier 2 civil construction and remediation business in FNQ. The role focuses on driving tenders, accurate cost estimates, and high-quality bids to maximise success.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management with 5+ years in engineering or construction, OH&S induction, and a proactive, team-oriented approach. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Materials/Civil/Chemical/Mechanical) or Project Management.
• 5+ years experience within Engineering or Construction industries.
• Construction Industry OH&S Induction Card.
• Clear thinking-based decision making; not emotion or guesswork.
• High attention to detail and proactive energy.
• Positive attitude; strong team player; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery by driving tenders to maximise bid success.

Our Client:

Our client is an industry-leading engineering rehabilitation business with a strong history and a track record of continued growth. They focus on re‑engineering and extending the life of ageing infrastructure assets by developing and delivering optimised Whole of Life (WOL) solutions.

The business works across APAC and enhances a range of assets from wharves, bridges, buildings to general concrete, steel and timber structures. Their service is mobile, flexible and efficient, and built on quality builds and outcomes. They are looking for a Project Manager to lead project delivery by driving allocated tenders to ensure accuracy in cost estimates, high-quality bids are submitted, and the likelihood of success is maximised.

The position is open to those who have studied a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.

The Role:

The Project Manager is accountable for managing allocated projects aiming to ensure zero harm, quality, on‑time delivery, customer satisfaction and profitability.

The role requires good communication with all project stakeholders and action to ensure a safe

working environment is maintained, full compliance to the company's Management System is achieved, and project deliverables are met including time, budget, safety, quality and environmental objectives.

The Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Materials/Civil/Chemical/Mechanical) or Project Management
• 5+ years experience within the Engineering or Construction industries
• Construction Industry OH&S Induction Card
• Good decision‑making is based on clear thinking and logic, not emotion or guesswork
