Job summary

Cadstruct Recruitment partners with an established commercial builder delivering health, government and commercial projects across Sydney. They’re seeking a hands-on Project Manager to lead a fast-paced healthcare new build in Western Sydney, with daily on-site leadership alongside the Site Manager and key stakeholders.

You’ll own the program, budget, quality and safety on a fixed deadline, communicating clearly under pressure while maintaining calm around live healthcare operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on health projects.
• Track record delivering complex projects to tight deadlines.
• Hands-on approach with significant on-site time.
• Experience managing demanding clients and stakeholders.
• Solid tenure with previous employers.
• Government project experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project from start to completion, owning program, budget, quality and safety.

• Manage head contract commercially: cost reporting, variations, claims, EOTs.

Cadstruct Recruitment have partnered with an established commercial builder delivering health, government and commercial projects across Sydney. They’re looking for a hands-on Project Manager to lead a fast-paced healthcare new build in Western Sydney.

The projects

Our client delivers new build and refurbishment projects across the health, government and commercial sectors, often in live, operational environments with demanding stakeholders. Their work involves fixed deadlines and tight programs, where strong planning and site presence make the difference. What matters most is a PM who is hands-on, commercially sharp under head contract, and calm under pressure when the program is non-negotiable.

What you’ll do

Lead the project from start to completion, owning program, budget, quality and safety on a tight, fixed-deadline schedule. You’ll spend a significant part of each day on site, driving the program with the Site Manager, resolving issues quickly and keeping trades on track. You’ll manage the head contract commercially, covering cost reporting, variations, claims, EOTs and subcontractor management. You’ll also be the main point of contact for a demanding client group, and will need to communicate clearly and stay composed in the face of pressure, including working around live healthcare operations.

What you’ll need

Proven experience as a Project Manager on health projects, either new build or live-environment refurbishment

A track record of delivering complex projects to tight, fixed deadlines

A hands-on approach, comfortable spending a large part of each day on site

Experience managing demanding clients and stakeholders

Solid tenure with previous employers

Government project experience highly regarded but not essential
